CONTEMPORARY DANCE FESTIVAL IN THE ROME METRO
DODI
Komoco
SYNOPSIS
"Dodi," from the Hebrew "gift; my beloved," begins by exploring the state of torment and dissatisfaction that shapes human existence. The constant desire for that something more in our lives can often produce a sense of loneliness and fear.
By meeting and mirroring each other, two entities embark on a journey of self-exploration and acceptance, sharing an honesty of expression that requires profound transformation and the elimination of cultural stereotypes. The duet expresses intimacy, trust, sensuality, delicacy, lightness, and passion.
DODI reveals the subtle poetry of relationships with others, helping us rediscover a profound understanding of the present moment and new possibilities within this reality: this innate sense of torment now appears as one of our most precious gifts. Awareness of it helps us delve deeper, find self-acceptance, and ultimately, freedom.
