SYNOPSIS
AQuarium esplora la convivenza tra individualità all’interno di un ecosistema chiuso. Un acquario non è solo contenitore, ma spazio vivo, comunità in continuo movimento.
La performance, ispirata alla composizione sinfonica di Johan de Meij, dà corpo a sei pesci tropicali: neon tetra, anguilla elettrica, pesce angelo, pesce zebra, cavalluccio marino e guppy, messi insieme in un acquario puramente ideale. A ciascuno è affidata una frase coreografica specifica, come una firma, un’identità.
i danzatori si avvicinano, si scontrano, si influenzano fino a fondersi in un finale corale, dove i confini individuali si sfumano per dare vita a un organismo danzante unico.
AQuarium è un invito ad abitare insieme le differenze, a trasformare la molteplicità in armonia.
BIOGRAPHY
USCITE DI EMERGENZA (EMERGENCY EXITS) was conceived by choreographer and dancer Davide Romeo. This young company operates in the fields of contemporary dance, improvisation, and performance, developing its own languages for conveying the concept. The choreographer's distinctive style, his exploration of constructing performance and movement based on the body and the interaction with numerous props, make this work unique and engaging on multiple levels. It has been applauded for the originality of its productions and for its varied and versatile offering of a fresh and dynamic choreographic vocabulary. Members of the Artistic Directors of the CORPO MOBILE FESTIVAL in Rome and of a continuing professional development program.
